Our next-generation MOSFET Switch Board (3300V) is the fastest and most advanced switch we offer, purpose-built from the ground up for extreme high-voltage and high-frequency experimentation. Designed specifically for TO-263-7 MOSFET packages, this revision focuses on ultra-low gate-loop inductance, a brand-new isolated high-speed gate driver, and a completely redesigned thermal solution to push switching performance to the absolute limit.

  • Extreme High-Voltage Capability: Designed to handle up to 3300V, the board supports TO-263-7 MOSFETs soldered directly to the PCB for maximum electrical and mechanical stability in demanding high-voltage environments.
     
  • Ultra-Fast Sub-10ns Switching: Featuring a brand-new isolated gate driver and ultra-low-inductance layout, this is the fastest switch we offer, with measured switching speeds as low as 3.3 ns (MOSFET- and load-dependent). This makes it ideal for sharp impulse generation and advanced high-frequency experiments.
     
  • Isolated Control and Power Domain: Logic input and power supply rails are galvanically isolated from the MOSFET/output side, preventing noise injection, protecting external equipment, eliminating ground loops, and enabling floating or high-side configurations.
     
  • Minimized Gate-Loop Inductance: The PCB layout has been completely redesigned to minimize gate-loop inductance, resulting in exceptionally clean transitions, reduced ringing, and stable operation at multi-megahertz frequencies.
     
  • High-Side or Low-Side Switching: The isolated drive architecture allows operation as either a high-side or low-side switch, enabling the MOSFET to float above ground potential when required.
     
  • Advanced Thermal Design: Heat dissipation has been significantly improved through a combination of dedicated heatsinks mounted directly on the MOSFET and large copper areas in direct thermal contact with the drain pad. This allows the board to sustain very high switching speeds without thermal stress.
     
  • Integrated Active Cooling: The board provides 12 V fan output via both an XH2.54 connector and a 2-port screw terminal. A silent maglev fan is included and pre-connected to the XH2.54 port, ensuring efficient and quiet cooling and enabling reliable operation at several MHz without thermal issues.
     
  • High-Frequency Capability: The switch easily supports frequencies above 1 MHz and has been tested at 3 MHz and beyond. Actual limits depend on MOSFET gate capacitance, operating voltage, and load conditions.
     
  • 3.3V & 5V Logic Compatible: The isolated input stage supports both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels, allowing direct connection to microcontrollers for precise, programmable switching control.
     
  • Selectable 50-Ohm Input Termination: A switchable 50 ohm impedance-matching resistor is included on the input, which is highly beneficial for clean signal integrity when operating at very high frequencies with standard signal generators and coaxial cables.
     
  • High-Current Terminals: Equipped with robust screw terminals rated for AWG10 wire, providing reliable, low-impedance connections ideal for pulsed power, resonance circuits, and high current loads.
     
  • Built-In Fuse Protection: An onboard fuse adds an extra layer of protection, helping safeguard the MOSFET and gate driver circuitry during fault, overcurrent, or abnormal operating conditions.
     
  • BNC Connection for Ease: A dedicated BNC connector provides a clean, low-noise interface to signal generators and laboratory equipment.

Note (1): The maximum DC isolation of 2300V applies between the MOSFET source and the input signal. The drain can be up to 3300V above the source, resulting in a total isolation potential of 5600V. Always consider these limits during operation.

Note (2): Best-case switching times refer to light capacitive discharge; typical values reflect heavier load operation. Speed is primarily determined by MOSFET gate capacitance, supply impedance, and load conditions — not the board itself.

Standard MOSFETs block current in only one direction due to the body diode's reverse conduction. For AC applications requiring bidirectional current blocking, our Bidirectional MOSFET Switch is the ideal solution.

This product includes a BNC to hookup wire adapter and a pre-installed silent maglev cooling fan for immediate use.
