We also offer bidirectional MOSFET switch boards for full AC current blocking using a back-to-back device configuration, eliminating the body-diode limitation found in standard MOSFETs. For voltages beyond the capability of a single MOSFET, our Stackable MOSFET Switch system allows up to five independently driven MOSFET stages to be connected in series and synchronized through fibre-optic triggering. Using suitable 3300 V MOSFETs, a five-stage stack can operate at approximately 15 kV while maintaining extremely fast switching performance. Each stage features its own isolated gate drive and power domain, providing a flexible solution for nanosecond pulse generation, capacitor discharge, plasma experiments, and other demanding high-voltage switching applications.
