High-quality polyimide insulation sleeve designed for ferrite flyback transformer cores, providing a robust dielectric barrier between the ferrite core and high-voltage windings. Polyimide offers excellent dielectric strength, high temperature resistance, and outstanding long-term reliability, making it ideal for demanding high-voltage and high-frequency applications.
This sleeve is especially useful when building, repairing, or modifying high-voltage flyback transformers where insulation stress between the winding and ferrite core can become a limiting factor. By adding an additional insulation layer around the ferrite leg, the sleeve helps reduce the risk of insulation breakdown, internal arcing, and carbon tracking under high-voltage operation.
The sleeve fits perfectly with our 25kV AC flyback transformer cores and can be used as a replacement insulation sleeve if the original insulation has been damaged or burned through under extreme high-voltage stress. It is also suitable for custom transformer builds, experimental high-frequency transformer designs, and repair work where reliable core-to-winding insulation is critical.
