Replacement Coil for 25kV Flyback

This is a replacement secondary coil for the 25kV AC flyback transformer—ideal if the original has failed due to overvoltage, stress, or extended high-frequency operation.

The coil is wound with 2400 turns and fully encapsulated in epoxy for excellent electrical insulation and durability. Please note: This spare coil does not include the polyimide ferrite sleeve. If your original sleeve is still intact, it can be reused during reassembly.

Installation Tip: Be sure to orient the coil so that the high-voltage output lead is positioned as far away from the ferrite core as possible. This is where breakdown and internal arcing typically occur under high-voltage stress.

This spare coil is designed for quick replacement, allowing you to restore full transformer functionality without needing to purchase a complete new unit.

Optional: For long-term operation at high voltages, we recommend using the sleeve (included with the original transformer) and consider submerging the transformer in oil to enhance insulation and eliminate corona discharge and ozone production.
