BNC Feedthrough Terminator (50 Ω)

This 50 Ω BNC feedthrough terminator is designed to provide proper impedance matching when measuring signals from a 50 Ω source using an oscilloscope or other test equipment. Mounted directly on the oscilloscope’s BNC input, it ensures a true 50 Ω termination at the measurement point, minimizing reflections, ringing, and signal distortion—especially critical for high-frequency and fast rise-time signals.

The feedthrough terminator is rated for a maximum load of 1 W, which corresponds to a maximum signal amplitude of 10 V (peak) measured at the oscilloscope input when used in a 50 Ω system. Exceeding this level may result in excessive heating and inaccurate measurements.

Unlike standard end-of-line terminators, the feedthrough design allows a BNC cable or probe to pass through while maintaining correct system impedance.
